What the site collects.
Google Analytics, the Google Ads tag and the company identification script load only after you press Accept on the analytics banner. Until then, and if you decline, none of them runs.
- Google Analytics records the pages you open, the site that sent you, your device and your approximate location.
- The Google Ads tag records whether a visit from an ad ended in a booked call or a brief sent.
- A company identification script looks up the network you visit from and the pages you open, and identifies the company that network belongs to, if any. If you accepted and then send the project brief, it also receives your name, email and project type, so the visit is linked to you.
- Booking a call through Cal.com shares your name, email, company, phone number if you give one, what you want to solve, any notes and any guests you add.
- The project brief sends your name, email, company, website, project type, description, features, budget, timeline, reference sites, notes, and whether you have a logo, domain and content.
- When you send the brief, we email a short note to the address you gave, saying it arrived and what happens next.
- When you book a call, we look up your job title, company, company size and industry with a business data provider, search the web for your company, and use AI models to write a briefing and a draft proposal for the call. If we wrote to you first, we use the record we already hold from that.
- We keep the booking, the briefing, the draft proposal and the state of the job in our database, and send follow-up emails about your enquiry. If nothing moves on it for 14 days, we close it.
- Emails you send us, and our replies, are kept as the record of the job.
Why.
To answer you, to prepare for the call, to scope and quote the work, to follow up on your enquiry, to take payment, and to see which pages and ads bring calls. We do not sell any of it, and we do not use it for anything else.
Who processes it.
- Google runs the analytics and the ad tag.
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar.
- An email delivery service sends the brief to us, and the note back to you.
- A payment processor receives your name, email, the agreed amount, the project title and our job and agreement references when we send a payment link for a job scoped in writing.
- The company identification provider receives the network address and the pages of each visit, and your name, email and project type if you send the brief.
- A business data provider returns your job title and company details when you book.
- A web search service receives your company's name and website when you book.
- AI model providers receive your name, email, job title, company and booking notes to write the call briefing and the draft proposal.
- A database host keeps the records of enquiries and jobs.
- An email provider hosts the inbox where briefs and emails arrive.
- A web host runs this site.
Some of these providers process your data outside India.
How long we keep it.
- Google Analytics deletes event data after 2 months, and data tied to a returning browser 14 months after its last visit.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Company identification results: 12 months.
- Enquiries that do not become a job: 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Everything else about a job: until the job ends and any warranty or support period is over, then deleted.
- Invoices, contracts and payment records: 8 years, as Indian company and tax law requires.
